Restoration.

I wonder if any of you out there in blogland can help me with a project. I have these older cross stitch pictures that I got from sales. They have yellowed and I want to clean them and make them up into something new. Here they are.

This next one is a pillowcase I was embroidering. I dont know what stained it.

And here is an old Candlewicking kit I found .

Mail call

My packages arrived. These are the ones that I ordered special from www.crossstitchworld.com using the money card my sweet sister gave me.

"Snowman and Reindeer"
The Gold Collection Petites by Dimensions
Design by Donna Race

"Feeding Frenzy"
Dimensions Counted Cross Stitch Kit.
Design by Marilee Carroll

"Three Bird Watchers Quilt"

So I now have a ton of stuff to stitch for 2012. My goal is to see how much I can finish including UFOs. Made progress on daddy's quilt too. I think the stem stitching really makes everything pop.

Sympathy

My friend Marie sent me this beautiful card the other day . Thanks so much. She is one of the most thoughtful people I have ever known. She is always positive and thinking of others and has such strong faith.

Here is my progress of the quilt top I am stitching daddy.

Jim got me a Marjolein Bastin planner this year. I had one a few years ago and loved it. Here it is and the first picture she drew. I just love her nature watercolors.

And lastly I stopped at Hobby Lobby yesterday and got these cute trims for my ornaments I like to stitch. They were half off.

There were a few other deals but I will post that later.

This weekend starts my color theory class with stitchmap. Fun fun fun.

Doctors visit

Went to infectious disease doctor and he believes I have Morgellens disease. He doesn't believe it to be contagious. Yeah!!! The CDC is researching it and he is managing my symptoms. The lesions in the skin is the biggest drawback. But glad it isn't too serious. Thank-you to everyone who's been praying for me. Please pray for the CDC to find a cure.

Christmastime is wonderful.

I so love this time of year. The day after Christmas we got to travel to Ft. Wayne to meet Daddy and Pam halfway between our homes. It was wonderful seeing them. We ate at Golden Corral and opened presents and visited.

They spoiled us with gifts and we spoiled them back.
Got lots of nice cards this year.

Here is a Christmas design I am working on. Fixing the back stitching.
More to come......
Blessed Stitching,
Sarah Beth

Christmas with the Marchuk's

Aren't we the cutest pair.

A visit with family.

Well today we went to meet Daddy and Pam halfway between Michigan and Indiana. I will post more on that later. Wanted to show you some of my magazines and the cool free stuff that came with them.

First off I was ecstatic to find my new year gift of a hardback calendar by Margaret Sherry. I adore her designs and can't wait to stitch some. I love the puppy ones and I am a cat fan so those would be fun too.

Here are the other kits and magazine.

And here's a picture of Jim while he was driving.

Doesn't this phone take amazing pictures. I love it. Jim you are such a sweetheart. He bought me this beautiful and very pricey phone and since I got that early he gave me a bunch of other presents. We have a joke among us that we giggle about every Christmas. About six years ago we found this cute stuffed piggy in Santa type clothes. When you pull its tail it squeals. It seems I am the most spoiled in the family because I always get the most presents. We usually go around and take turns opening gifts. Before we found this stuffed pig Jim always called me the Christmas piggy. Now he squeals the piggy when everyone runs out except me. So the Christmas Piggy traditionally has to be set out every year. Here it is.

Blessed Stitching and more to come soon,
Sarah Beth
