TGIF

Well I am ready to start a new project. My friend, Harriett, blessed me with the coolest fabric yesterday. She had a whole bunch of decorator fabric sample.books and gave them all to me to use. I am still I'm shock. The fabrics are amazing and will work out perfect for finishing ornaments and needlework sets of fobs, pincushions, needlebooks, and needlerolls. My creative juices are just bursting.

Ever since I started walking with Sheba once a day I notice I feel happier and at more peace considering all that has been going on. I look forward to our time together each day and she does too. I hate that we lost the others but it helps to do new things with Sheba and know that things will be ok and we will and are getting through this.

Time for me.to put the chicken on. Blessed stitching,
Sarah Beth

  1. That's such a coincidence - I got a load of those recently - my profile pic is stitched onto upholstery fabric using aida as waste canvas. I was so excited when I saw all the gorgeous books. A cushion maker took the larger books and I got the smaller ones.

I've also stitched some initials onto a checked upholstery sample which turned out well. I'm planning a whole load more. This month it's a railway carriage for a fares increase protest with the Craftivist Collective!

Looking forward to comparing notes and projects.
